Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar (210
kms) 
Drive
to Hardwar enroute stop for lunch. on arrival Hardwar check in to hotel.
Hardwar is the gateway town to Sri Badrinath and Kedarnath. The Kumbh and
Ardh Kumbh fair takes place here in every 12th yrs and 06th Year. It is the
place where river Ganges leaves mountain and flows to plains. It was also
called as the Kapilsthan after the great sage Kapil, who lived &
meditated here.
Hardwar, The land of Ashrams, Dharamshalas and other
similar religious centers established by saints & yogis. Hardwar is one
of the seven sacred cities, where Moksha (spritual liberation) can be
attained more easily as per Hindu mythology.
The one dip to the holy
river Ganges can give you a salvation from all your sins.The most popular
and sacred Ghat is known as Hari-ki-Pairi, a footprint of Vishnu on a stone
in a wall. Evening participate in Aarti Ceremony which normally takes place
around 7 pm every evening. Ganga Aarti gives you a spectacular sight,
hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river.

Day 02 : Haridwar - Barkot - 230 kms (7 - 8 hrs)
Early morning drive to Barkot enroute stop for lunch at Mussoorie 'The queen
of hill station' situated over the top of Doon Valley and is 34 kms from
Dehradun, situated at an altitude of 2003 mts.
Captain Young of the
British army was influenced by the beauty of this place and made it his
residence is 1820 and slowly the lovely town come to existence.
Restart
your journey and reach Barkot in the evening after visiting Kempty Falls 15
kms from Mussoorie on the Yamunotri Road at an altitude of 4500 ft.
On
arrival check in and overnight at The Chardham Camp.
Day 03 : Barkot - Yamnotri - Barkot (Drive 32 kms, trek
10 kms round) After breakfast start your journey to Yamunotri Via
Hanuman Chatti ( Drive 32 kms ) & Phool Chatti. Yamunotri is the origin
of the sacred river Yamuna. Yamunotri is also famous for its hot water
spring and Glaciers, according to a legend Asit muni used to reside here.
Maharani Guleria built this temple in 19th Century, which was destroyed by
earthquake twice since then.
It is located at the height of 3252
meters.At Yamunotri, pray and take blessings of Goddess Yamuna the daughter
of Surya (sun God) and Sangya, the (Goddess of consciousness) before come
down to Chardham Camp for relaxation. Optional In the evening time for
Ayurvedic Massages. Overnight at Chardham Camp.
Day 04
: Barkot - Uttarkashi (Drive 62 kms, 2 - 3 hrs)

After
a breakfast drive to Uttarkashi reach Uttarkashi by lunch time. On arrival
check in to hotel.
Uttarkashi situated near the river Bhagirathi
having many ancient temples, the most famous is Vishwanath Temple dedicated
to Lord Shiva. Shakti Temple is located nearby famous for Old brass trident
26 ft high with a base of 9 ft. Uttarkashi has similarity of Kashi, hence
named as Uttarkashi located at the north of Kashi .
Uttarkashi is
known for its temples dedicated to Rishi Parasurama, Datatryea, Goddess
Annapurna Devi, Goddess Kali, and Bhairon. Apart from the pilgrimage
importance this town is having Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
Overnight at hotel/Camp.
Day 05 : Uttarkashi -
Gangotri - Uttarkashi (Drive 105 Kms one side) After breakfast
leave to Gangotri, on arrival take a holy dip in the River Ganges, also
called as Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja.
Gangotri, according
to an old legend, Lord Shiva rewarded King Bhagirath after his penance and
Ganga came down to earth. This is why Ganga is also called by the name of
Bhagirathi.
On the right side of Bhagirathi, there is the Temple of
Gangotri.It was constructed by a Gorkha Commander Amar Singh Thapa in 18th
Century. The physical source of the river is at Gaumukh, 18 km from Gangotri
at the base of Bhagirathi peaks and Gongotri Glacier.
The natural rock
Shivling, submerged in the river, according to mythology, Lord Shiva sat at
this spot to receive the Ganaga in his matted locks.
Evening drive back
to Uttarkashi, overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Uttarkashi - New Tehri (90 Kms)- Guptakashi (155
kms) (Drive 7 - 8 hrs) After early breakfast drive to Guptakashi.
Enroute stop at New Tehri for lunch.
On the way see the heritage city
of Tehri, submerged into water due to construction of Tehri Dam.
Tehri
Garhwal, including Pauri, Chamoli and part of Rudraprayag was called British
Garhwal until India's independence in 1947.
All temples, historical
buildings, houses, memories of yester years are now drowned to huge
reservoir.
In time drive to Guptkashi located 2 kms out of town towards
Gaurikund.
Guptkashi have the temple of importance like Vishwanath
Temple, Ardhnareeshwar Temple & Manikarnik Kund.
Overnight at camp.
Day 07 : Guptakashi - Kedarnath. ( Drive 32 kms trek 14 kms
) 
After
breakfast proceed to Gaurikund (32 kms drive one way ) on arrival start the
trek to Kedarnath .on arrival check in to hotel.
After freshening up
perform Pooja & Darshan at the Shri Kedarnath Ji.
Kedarnath is
among one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India devoted to lord Shiva(the
Creator-Preserver-Destroyer) who is worshipped mainly in the form of a
linga.
Kedarnath temple is an altitude of 3584 mts, amid the lofty snow
caped peaks was built by Adi Shankaracharya in 8th century.The Inner walls
are decorated with figures of deities, The temple has a " Garbha Griha"
for worship and a Mandap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. A conical
rock formation inside the temple is worshipped as Lord Shiva in his
Sadashiva form.
Out side of the temple is statue of Nandi Bull stand as
a guard. Kedarnath is including these four shrines is treated as Panch Kedar
these are Madmaheshwar, Tungnath, Rudranath & Kalpeshwar.
According to mythology the deity of Kedarnath temple is identified with the
rump of a bull, a form assumed by Lord Shiva, when eluding the Pandavas, who
had come to repent for killing their kith and kin, during the battle of
Mahabharata.

Day 08 :
Kedarnath - Guptakashi. (Trek 14 kms, drive 32 kms) After
breakfast trek down to Gaurikund & then drive to Guptakashi.
by
evening. Relax with Ayurvedic Massage. Dinner and overnight at The Chardham
Camp.
Day 09 : Guptakashi - Joshimath Via Chopta. 175 kms. ( 6
- 7 hrs ) After breakfast drive to Joshimath via Chopta, one of
the most beautiful sites on the whole trip. Enjoy the beautiful drive
through the thick medicinal forest. Joshimath a beautiful place located
enroute to Badrinath and also the hub for Valley of Flowers, Kemkund Sahib
and Auli the Ski Resort.
It was one of four pith established by Adi
Shankaracharya in 8th Century. It is believed that Sri Badrinath (The God
Vishnu) resides here in winter.
Overnight at hotel
Day 10 : Joshimath - Badrinath - Joshimath. 45 kms one way (1 - 2 hrs)

After
breakfast leave for Badrinath, on arrival take the holy Darshan and spend
time.
Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, which is said to
have been built by Adi Guru Shankaracharya in the early 8th century.
Badrinath is situated between the twin mountains called Nar and Narayan is
the holiest of the four main shrines, Neelkanth mountains as the backdrop.
Badrinath Temple has been renovated several times due to damages by
avalanches. It looks fairly modern now due to the colourful "Singh
Dwara" or the main entrance gate. It has three parts- Garbha Griha (the
sanctum sanctorum), Darshan Mandap (for pujas) and Shobha Mandap (for
devotees to assemble)
Badrinath is one of the famous Panch -Badri the
rest four are Yog Dhyan-Badri, Adi Badri, Vridha Badri and Bhavisya Badri
famous for the idol of Vishnu in meditative position, Adi-Badri known for a
group of 16 temples, Vriddha-Badri known to be the earliest shrine of
Badrinath and Bhavishya-Badri, which will be worshipped in future. All these
temples are worth paying a visit for their religious sanctity as well as
architectural heritage.

Day
11 : Joshimath - Haridwar. 280 kms (8 - 9 hrs) Early morning we
leave with packed breakfast from Joshimath for Haridwar. On the way visit
Devprayag and Rishikesh. Enroute stop for lunch in Srinagar. On arrival
check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Haridwar
- Delhi. 210 kms (6 - 7 hrs) After breakfast visit Chandi Devi by
Cable car. After lunch proceed for Delhi.
