Day 01 : Delhi - Nainital

In
time board train to Kathgodam. Pick up from Railway station and drive to
Nainital, Nainital the pleasant hill station is famous for its
lake,cottages, villas and bungalows. In Indian mythology, Nainital is
regarded as one of the 64 'Shakti Peeths'. Legend has it that a grief
stricken Lord Shiva was carrying Sati's body and one of her eyes fell here.
The Nainital Lake is shaped like an eye and the town derived its name from
the combination of Nain (eye) and Tal (lake). The Naina Devi temple is
located at one end of the lake. Nainital was once the summer capital of
Uttar Pradesh. The gorgeous greens and the majestic mountains add to the
beauty of the hill resort. situated at an altitude of 1,938 meters.The other
lakes located near are Bhimtal, Sat Tal, Naukuchiya Tal and Khurpa tal.
Other places of interest are Dorothy's Seat,also known as the Ayarpatta Hill
or Tiffin Top,is at an altitude of 2,292 m. It is a memorial to the English
lady,Dorothy,who is believed to have been killed in an air crash. The church
& Naina Devi Temple, Zoo, Naina peak etc. Overnight at hotel in
Nainital.
Day 02 : Nainital
After Breakfast, visit to Mall, Boating Club, Cable Car Ride, Thandi Sadak,
Free time to Lesiure & Shooping.
Day 03 : Nainital-Corbett

After
Breakfast, drive to Corbett National Park. Arrive and check in to
hotel/Resort. Overnight in Corbett. Corbett national park is located in the
foothills of Himalayas. Once a popular hunting ground of the British, this
201 square mile park was named in honor of the late Jim Corbett, the
legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer. who most of his
years in this area and contributed in setting up the this park.
Day 04 : Corbett
After Breakfast proceed to Jugle safari with naturalist. Jim Corbett
National Park in India is one of the famous national park in Asia. It was
the first naional park to choosen to start project tiger program in 1973.
The park is famous of for its rich flora and fauna, a wide population of
Tigers, Leopards and Elephants, Deer, Wild boar, Jungle cat, Fishing cat,
The dole, Wild dog, Himalayan black bear, Sloth bear, Himalayan palm civet,
Indian Grey Mongoose, Black naped hare, Porcupine, Common otter, Fish eating
Ghariyal, mugger crocodiles, Langur, Rhoesus monkey, 110 tree species, 580
bird species and 25 reptile species distrinuted through out the national
park in terrai and hilly region. In the afternoon back to Elephant safari
(additional cost). Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 05 : Delhi - Corbett
After breakfast drive to New Delhi. (End of tour)
