This is one of the best moderate trek, we
can start this either from Paro or Thimpu.
Trek passes through the
chain of mountains, sparsely inhabited villages, lakes, spectacular
Rhododendron forests which blooms in spring season.
There are some 50
species of Rhododendron found in Bhutan varies in heights and colours of
flowers.
The trekkers experiences Bhutan, the hidden and virgin land,
at its magnificent form.
Day 01 : Arrive Paro

On
arrival at Paro airport, you will be met by our representative.
Transfer to Hotel in Paro.
Day 02 : Paro
After breakfast Sight seeing tour continues to Paro valley visit to Drukgyel
Dzong a ruined fortress, dome of Chomolhari the mountain goddess. Visit to
Kyichu Lakhang one of the old temples built by king Sonsten Gampo, it was
considered as the mark of arrival of Buddhism in Bhutan. Visit to National
museum earlier known as Ta Dzong a watch tower.
After lunch walk down
the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong (Fortress of the heap of jewels),
Along the wooden galleries lining the inner courtyard are fine wall
paintings demonstrating Buddhist teachings.
In time drive to Thimpu.
Arrival and check in to hotel.
Day 03 : Paro
Jele Dzong (8km, 3 hours) You will start your first day trek up
till Jele Dzong, The trail ascends gradually till the camp.
Above the
camp is Jele la pass at the height of 3400 mts and Jele dzong.
On a clear day you can have spectacular snow caped mountains in the back
drop.
There is lakhang having a statue of Buddha Sakyamuni.
Overnight in Camp.
Day 04 : Jele Dzong
Jangchulakha (10km, 3-4 hours) Begins with the climb and slightly
gradual ascends upwards, The trail passes through the thick alpine and
Rhododendron forests.
Stunning views of Chomolhari peaks can be witness
on a clear day, yak herders around and sweet syllable of Himalayan bird
Monal, a unmatched experience of Bhutan.
Overnight in camp.
Day 05 : Jangchulakha Jimilangtsho (11 km, 4 hours)

The
trail follows the ridge, on a clear day the views of the mountains and
valley are sensational. You will enjoy a great view of Jichu Drake (6,989m).
This peak is considered as the representation of protective deity of Paro.
Overnight at Camp, which is closed to Jimilangtsho lake and famous for giant
Trout Fish.
Day 06 : Jimilangtsho Simkota
(11km, 4 hours) The trail passes through the Janetsho lake and
Rhododendron Forests, yak herders in route.
Overnight in Camp near
Simkota lake, again having abundance of trout fishes.
Day 07 : Simkota Phajoding (10km, 4 hours) Today you will
witness more snow caped mountains like Mt. Gangkar Puensum etc.
Firstly trek ascends gradually and then descends down to Campsite.
There is one small rest house with cafeteria in Phajoding.
Stay at
either rest house or camp depends on weather condition.
Day 08 : Phajoding Thimphu (5km, 3 hours) The most
smooth trail with blue pine forest downhills you reach to Thimpu.
The
capital city of Bhutan.
Afternoon at leisure or visit to the local
market.
Overnight at Hotel in Thimpu.
Day 10 :
Thimphu Paro 
After
breakfast proceed to tour of Thimpu the capital town of Bhutan.
Visit
National Library, housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist
manuscripts, The Institute of Traditional Medicine, and Institute of Zorig
Chusum (Painting school)
After lunch, visit Tashi chho dzong, the
fortress of the glorious religion. This is the seat of political and
religion power built by the unifier of Bhutan, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
Reconstructed again by the third king his majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck the
father of modern Bhutan
Visit to government-run Handicrafts
Emporium, local crafts shops to witness through the rich and flourished
culture of Bhutans fine traditional Arts, hand woven textiles, Tangkha
paintings wooden carvings and jewelry.
Overnight at hotel
Day 11 : Depart Paro After early breakfast in the hotel,
drive to the airport for flight to onward destination.
