Day 01 : Delhi - Nainital Depart to Kathgodam by train.

Pick
up from Railway station and drive to Nainital. Arrival and check in to
hotel.

Day 02 : Nainital
Day at leisure or independent activities. Nainital the pleasant hill station
is famous for its lake, cottages, villas and bungalows. In Indian mythology,
Nainital is regarded as one of the 64 'Shakti Peeths'. Legend has it that a
grief stricken Lord Shiva was carrying Sati's body and one of her eyes fell
here. The Nainital Lake is shaped like an eye and the town derived its name
from the combination of Nain (eye) and Tal (lake). The Naina Devi temple is
located at one end of the lake.
Nainital was once the summer capital of Uttar Pradesh. The gorgeous greens
and the majestic mountains add to the beauty of the hill resorts. Situated
at an altitude of 1,938 meters. The other lakes located near are Bhimtal, Sat
Tal, Naukuchiya Tal and Khurpa tal.
Other places of interest are Dorothy's Seat, also known as the Ayarpatta
Hill or Tiffin Top, is at an altitude of 2,292 m. It is a memorial to the
English lady, Dorothy, who is believed to have been killed in an air crash.

Day 03 : Nainital - Almora
After breakfast drive to Almora, arrive and check into hotel.

Almora is located at the height of 1,650 metres above sea level. The town
looks out over a fertile terraced valley and four ranges of hills - Banari
Devi, Kasan Devi, Shyahi Devi and Katarmal. Swami Vivekanada meditated here.
The main thoroughfare is the Mall. The other places of interest are Kasar
Devi Temple situated at a distance of 6 km from Almora town is this temple
on Kalmatiya Hill, where Swami Vivekanand came to mediate. Udyotchandesvar
It houses Kumaon's presiding deity, Nanda Devi, whose festival is celebrated
in August/September
Almora once the centre of Kumaoni culture and the capital of the Chand
dynasty.

Day 05 : Almora - Ranikhet
After breakfast drive to Ranikhet, arrive and check in to hotel. Overnight

Day 06 : Ranikhet

Day
free to independent activities. Ranikhet a picturesque little hill resort,
which literally means 'The Queen's Field'is located at the height 1830
meters. The British developed Ranikhet as the military cantonment and now
features the Kumaon Regiment. Chaubatia, originally a sanatorium for the
British troop, is 10 km from Ranikhet. From this place, one can view the 300
km wide snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas, namely, Nandadevi, Trishul,
Nandaghunti and Nilkanth. Ranikhet is also known for Fruit Research Center
is spread over an area of 265 acres and has four fruit gardens
Baba Hera Khan Temple and Ashram in the vicinity of the Chilianaula village
is 4 km from Ranikhet
Day 07 : Ranikhet - Kathgodam - New Delhi.
In time drive to Kathgodam to board train to New Delhi.
